Glider
- A remotely controlled autonomous ocean monitoring vehicle, equipped with various oceanographic sensors, adjusts its buoyancy to travel along a designated path between the surface and depths of up to 1000 meters to collect hydrographic profile data.
- Each time it surfaces, it transmits real-time GPS location and sensor data via satellite, or receives mobile control commands to adjust its route, surfacing posture, and sensor sampling frequency.
- The observation missions are not limited by season, sea conditions, or range. Powered by lithium batteries with very low energy consumption, it can continuously operate for three to six months or longer depending on mission requirements.
