ROV

Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) are underwater vehicles controlled by technicians onshore through an umbilical cable, enabling underwater operations. Depending on their design and operational mode, they can perform various underwater missions at different depths.

Our institute currently operates two ROVs:
The Blue ROV, designed and manufactured by Blue Robotics Inc. (USA), is compact and easy to deploy, suitable for environmental surveys within 100 meters depth;
The H800 ROV, designed and built by Exail (France), is equipped with multiple sensors and superior current resistance, capable of conducting complex scientific explorations up to 1000 meters deep.
