The Precious Instrument Center – Marine Exploration Division, College of Science, National Taiwan University, is a national marine research service center supported by the National Science and Technology Council. Led by the Director of the Institute of Oceanography, it brings together experts in physics, chemistry, biology, and geology to provide technical support for research vessels and onshore operations. The center is responsible for maintaining equipment on the new research vessel, enhancing equipment efficiency, introducing new observation technologies, and developing innovative devices. It plays a key role in supporting marine science research and technological innovation both domestically and internationally.
