Function Description
The Shippek Grab is designed to collect surface sediment samples from the seabed. With a weight of only approximately 60 kg, it is commonly used in shallow waters. Its dimensions are 472×638×422 mm, with a sampling area of 0.04 m² and a sampling depth of 102 mm. During operation, the semi-circular cover is flipped into position using the handle. When it touches the seabed, the spring mechanism is activated, and the cover rotates back to close, thus collecting the soil sample.
