Function Description
- SBE 43 is a standalone, high-precision oxygen sensor that is calibrated individually and used for measuring oxygen in chemical research across various profiling and moored platforms.
- The SBE 43 is designed for use with CTD pump flow paths, providing optimal correlation with other parameters measured by the CTD.
- The black gas chamber of the SBE 43, combined with the four light-blocking tubes, reduces the growth of algae.
- The water flow path linking the SBE 3Plus and SBE 4C prevents the SBE 43 from prolonged exposure to the external environment, maintaining the water in an anoxic state and reducing electrolyte consumption in the carbon needle.
