Function Description
- The SBE 5T pump is a standard modular component of the Sea-Bird CTD package.
- The pump circulates water through the conductivity cell at a constant rate, independent of the CTD frame’s lowering or raising speed, thereby enhancing the measurement performance of the temperature and conductivity sensors.
- The 5T pump features a titanium housing and is rated for depths up to 10,500 meters.
