Function Description

Tsurumi Seiki MK-150 Series

The MK-150 series from Tsurumi Seiki is a digital converter designed for expendable oceanographic instruments such as XBT, XCTD, and AXCTD. It is primarily used to receive probe signals and convert them into data for analysis. The series includes two models: TS-MK150N (discontinued) and TS-MK150P (portable version).

Main Features

  • Real-Time Data Display: Displays measurement data and charts in real time.
  • Data Conversion: Converts measurement data into physical quantities and supports conversion of data per meter and header editing.
  • Sound Velocity and Density Calculation: Calculates and outputs sound velocity and density data.

Starting from April 2021, the XCTD probe circuit boards have been updated, and the model suffix now includes an "N" (e.g., XCTD-1N). While the performance and specifications remain unchanged, it is recommended that users update the software for the MK-150 series to ensure data accuracy and compatibility.
