Mooring System
-
Anchor system refers to a long-term observation setup fixed at a specific location, providing a suitable platform to carry various instruments based on experimental needs, such as core samplers, water samplers, current meters, thermometers, pressure sensors, and atmospheric monitoring devices.
-
The anchor system can continuously record time-series data of the deployment area and even achieve real-time data collection through satellite transmission. Data gathering is not limited by ship schedules or weather, enabling more effective understanding of atmospheric, hydrological, and flow field variations in the marine area.
-
Additionally, the ship is equipped with an EdgeTech release acoustic drum mounted under the hull, which can be paired with the new EdgeTech Commander 8011M.
